Her File Was Released & What Happens Next

Thank you for all of your prayers!!  Piper's file was released 3/29/12!!  So we were able to send our LOI (Letter of Intent) which is the paperwork that is sent requesting approval for us to adopt Piper.  Our Dossier then goes into translation and then once our file is reviewed we will be issued our LOA (Letter of Acceptance)  Right now we are told that it is taking 3-4 months for the approval.  I have a good feeling about it, and also recognize that we are on God's timing so I know that he can move mountains and work miracles so that is our prayer.  We are praying that our paperwork lands on an efficient workers desk and that we can get our LOA soon.  We cannot wait to see Piper and hold her in our arms :)  We look at her picture all of the time and just are so in love with her already!

So what have we been doing in the meantime???

Well our 3 little ones have been keeping us on our toes.  Jenn homeschool's so that has been keeping us busy too.  We have decided to look into an online charter school for our oldest daughter to do.  We started researching to see what will be a good fit for her.  We are really hoping to make this decision soon.  We have also started to start the process of discussing putting Audyn in her big girl room so that she can adjust to her new room before Piper comes. We cannot believe she is already moving into a big girl room!!  We also have started a garden in our backyard to grow vegetables and some strawberries.  It has been fun and definately a great thing to do to occupy ourselves.  We have lots of seeds that we started inside and we are planning on transferring them when the time is right.  If you are looking for something to do to pass some time I would definately recomend this!!!!

Also our biggest thing that has been keeping us busy is our Both Hands Project that is coming up soon--May 12, 2012.  We are SUPER excited to be able to have this opportunity to be able to tie in what we are called to do.  Help widows and orphans.  For the past few weeks, the girls and I have been going to businesses to ask for donations for our project.  It has been amazing at the conversations that I have had regarding our project.  I think it is something that not everyone is familiar with and they just don't understand why we would want to do all of this.  A lot of people don't understand the concept and I have to explain how it helps the widow and the orphan.  So far we have been able to get flowers and all of the paint and stain we need donated.  Linda (widow) has some other things that I would like to see be done for her such as a new refrigerator.  Hers is not working properly and is freezing things.  Her dishwasher also does not work, there are floor issues also that need to be addressed etc so we are continuing to work on these items.  She says she will be thankful if we get one thing done. I of course dream big and would love to see us be able to help her more.  If you are interested in helping us we could still use some more volunteers.  If you would like to make a tax deductible donation please click on the donate button.  Thank you for all of your support and your continued prayers.
